This week I learned of the death of James Rosenquist and I had to acknowledge it here.
He was one of the most interesting painters associated with American Pop Art..
Anyhow, he’s dead, at the age of 83. Not too bad, but it’s a sombre moment.

Last Summer I’ve hike many part of Vancouver Island and discovered its remote and natural beauty. I simply falled in love with the region. Here’s a list of 7 Amazing multi-day hikes of Vancouver Island.
I’ve been asked where i find the birds images for my drawing. I have a go to web site that I like to start with: Audubon.org. It’s fantastic for the Hi-Resolution photos of birds, but it’s also packed with tons of informations on conservancy, tips and tricks for birding, travel, photography and more.

Women’s Right to Run
In April of 1967, Kathrine Switzer officially ran the, up to then man only, Boston Marathon for the first time. Since then, women everywhere have participated in many more Marathon and races all over the world, she is a pioneer.
Kathrine Switzer deserves our praises and we must celebrate this 50th anniversary.
